VITAFOL contains an active ingredient called folic acid
Vitafol tablet is a vitamin supplement that contains folic acid (vitamin B9) as an active ingredient. Folic acid is one of the key vitamins. It is required for many physiological reactions including DNA, protein and amino acid synthesis. Folic acid has various roles in the body.
It is essential for the development of healthy red blood cells, growth and development, production of the body’s genetic structure like DNA and RNA, cells, tissue growth during pregnancy, foetal development, and adolescence.
It is crucial for the proper functioning of the brain. It also improves mental and emotional health. Low levels of folic acid results in mouth ulcers, numbness of extremities, tiredness, fatigue, and many more. Read more: Vitafol 5mg
