Symfine 120mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor.
The most common side effects are headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and nausea. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Please consult your doctor if any of these side effects do not resolve or persist for a longer duration.

Driving

However, you should check that Tablet does not make you feel sleepy or dizzy before driving or operating machinery.
Kidney
CAUTION
Symfine 120mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Symfine 120mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE SYMFINE TABLET?
If you miss a dose of Symfine 120mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

INTERACTIONS:

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
For adults and children aged 12 years and over the recommended dose is one tablet (120mg, 180 mg) daily. Take your tablet with water before a meal
For children aged 6 to 11 years of age the recommended dose is one tablet (30 mg) twice daily
Take your tablet with water before a meal
This medicine starts to relieve your symptoms within 1 hour and lasts for 24 hours
If you take more SYMFINE 120MG
If you take too many SYMFINE 120MG contact your doctor or the nearest hospital emergency department immediately
If you forget to take SYMFINE 120MG
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet. Take the next dose at the usual time as prescribed by your doctor
If you stop taking SYMFINE 120MG
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to stop your treatment

Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
