Have a high total amount of tumor throughout the body, including your bone marrow
Have or have had neuropathy
Have or have ever had hepatitis B infection
Interactions
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
Ketoconazole (used to treat fungal infection)
Ciprofloxacin, enoxacin (used to treat infection)
Fluvoxamine (used to treat depression)
Directions & For Use
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Do not break, open or chew this medicine
Swallow the medicine whole, preferably with water
If you take more POMALID 2MG
If you take more POMALID 2MG than you should, talk to a doctor or go to nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to take POMALID 2MG
If you forget to take POMALID 2MG on a day when you should, take your next medicine as normal the next day. Do not increase the number of medicine you take to make up for not taking POMALID 2MG the previous day
If you stop taking POMALID 2MG
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so

Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25?C
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Pomalid 2mg Capsule is used in the treatment of multiple myeloma and is used in combination with some other medicine (dexamethasone). It works by helping the bone marrow to produce normal blood cells and by killing abnormal cells.
Pomalid 2 mg Capsule can be taken with or without food, but better to take it at the same time every day. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it.

This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised.

The most common side effects of this medicine include fatigue, fever, bone pain, muscle cramp, and diarrhea. This medicine may reduce the number of blood cells (decrease red blood and white blood cells) in your blood, thereby, increasing the susceptibility to infections. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells along with heart, liver, and blood uric acid levels.
Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your healthcare team know all medications you are using.
This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

This medicine will kill the abnormal cells and prevent their further growth as well as spread to other parts of the body.
