Lejet Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It is used to treat various allergic conditions such as hay fever, conjunctivitis, some skin reactions such as eczema, hives, and reactions to bites and stings. It also relieves watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, and itching.
Lejet Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose required by you may vary depending on what you are taking it for. This medicine is usually taken in the evening, but follow the advice of your doctor on how to take it. You may need this medicine only on days you have symptoms, but if you are taking it to prevent the symptoms then you should take it regularly. If you miss doses or stop taking it earlier than advised, your symptoms may come back.
This medicine is generally very safe. The most common side effects include feeling sleepy or dizzy, dry mouth, fatigue, and headache. These are usually mild and go away after a couple of days as your body adjusts to it. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects persist or worry you.

HOW TO USE LEJET TABLET
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lejet Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Pregnancy
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Lejet Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Lejet Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or more prolonged use of Lejet Tablet may cause drowsiness and other effects in the baby or decrease the milk supply
Driving
UNSAFE
Lejet Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
CAUTION
Lejet Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lejet Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Lejet Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Lejet Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Lejet Tablet is recommended.
WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE LEJET TABLET?
If you miss a dose of Lejet Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS:

Talk to your doctor before taking LEJET, if you:
Are allergic to levocetirizine, any other related substance, or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
Have epilepsy(fits)
Have kidney problem
Consume alcohol
INTERACTIONS
Tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always take LEJET exactly as your doctor has told you
You should swallow the medicine whole with water
The usual dose for is one medicine daily
The duration of treatment depends on the type, duration and course of the complaints
If you take more LEJET
If you have taken more LEJET than you should, you may experience the following symptoms: confusion, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, headache, feeling unwell, dilation of the pupils, itching, restlessness, drowsiness, sleepiness, fast heartbeat, shaking and difficulty passing urine
Contact your doctor immediately
If you forget to take LEJET
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
Skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the usual time
If you stop taking LEJET
Do not stop this medicine unless told by your doctor
STORAGE:
Keep out of the reach of children
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
