It is used,
To treat skin conditions such as acne, oily skin and excessive hair growth in women of reproductive age. Due to its contraceptive properties it should only be prescribed for you if your doctor considers that treatment with a hormonal contraceptive is appropriate

Carpela Tablet is a combination of two hormonal medicines used to treat symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) such as excessive hair growth (hirsutism), acne, and irregular periods.
It also works as a contraceptive, hence avoid using any other contraceptive pill.
Carpela Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time every day as it will help you remember to take it.
The dose and duration will depend on what you are being treated for, but you should always complete a full course of this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.Consult your doctor if you frequently experience spotting or brown discharge in the middle of the cycle.
You must also consult your doctor if you notice unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain or changes in vision.
Do not continue with the medicine and consult with the doctor if your periods do not start within a week of the treatment.
Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.
Avoid the use of medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Women with Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) have high levels of male hormones called androgens, that are responsible for irregular menstrual cycles (periods), excessive hair growth and acne.
Carpela Tablet is a combination medicine that helps in regulating the production of these androgens as well as periods in females.
This also helps in treating excessive hair growth (hirsutism) and acne effectively.
Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not skip any doses and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

HOW TO USE CARPELA TABLET
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
Swallow it as a whole.
Do not chew, crush or break it.
Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
HOW CARPELA TABLET WORKS
Tablet is a combination of two hormonal medicines: Cyproterone and Ethinyl Estradiol which treats PCOS symptoms such as acne, excessive hair growth (hirsutism) and irregular periods.
Cyproterone works by blocking the overproduction of androgens (male hormones) in the ovaries, thereby reducing unwanted hair growth and acne.
Ethinyl Estradiol enhances the effect of Cyproterone by reducing the amount of androgens in the blood. Together, they also regularize the menstrual cycle in PCOS.
WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE CARPELA TABLET?
If you miss a dose of Tablet, take it as soon as possible.
However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
